The linear economy is the economic model that has dominated industry globally since the Industrial Revolution. It is a model based on the consumption of raw materials, processing until their transformation into a final product that is usually single-use or short-lived. The linear economy has generated levels of growth unprecedented in the history of mankind, however, derived activities such as demand for resources, deforestation, waste, waste generation, burning of fossil fuels, etc. they have increased the emission of greenhouse gases causing global warming.
We must establish measures that prevent the planet’s temperature from continuing to rise, seek efficiency in processes, improve infrastructures and invest more resources in research and development of new products, systems and services that contribute to caring for the planet.
The circular economy represents a more sustainable economic model than the linear model. It favors the recovery of materials using resources for as long as possible, extracting the maximum value and then recovering them and generating other products or materials.
Since our inception, at SUCITESA we have set ourselves the goal of responsibly managing natural resources, manufacturing materials and final products, avoiding waste and minimizing the generation of waste. For this reason, in 2004 we were certified under the ISO 14001 standard, implementing an Environmental Management System based on continuous improvement, investing resources, structure and planning all activities in relation to the environment.
At SUCITESA we have gone one step further with the LIFE CARE product range developed under the criteria of the circular economy:
1.- ECO-DESIGN: we incorporate environmental and safety criteria in all phases of the product: conception, development, manufacture, use and disposal of the product.
2.- CONTAINERS: all our containers are reusable and are approved to contain ADR chemical products. All are recyclable and, in addition, those whose capacity is equal to or less than 2 liters can be deposited in the yellow container.
3.- FORMULATION: the products in the Life Care range are formulated on the basis of organic ingredients, contain perfumes that do not classify by allergic sensitivity, contain easily and quickly biodegradable surfactants, are free of parabens, heavy metals and phosphates. Some formulas have ecological certification ECOLABEL
4.- SAFE USE: at SUCITESA we care that spaces are safe for workers and clients, promoting the use of cleaning products without extreme dangerous pictograms. We avoid errors in the application by identifying the products by color code. We implement dosage methods that minimize contact with the product and avoid direct handling.
