Changes in the Safety Data Sheets of products

On January 1, 2023, safety data sheets must comply with REGULATION (EU) 2020/878, which amends Annex II of the REACH Regulation (European Regulation No 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals). This implies the need to modify the information in the safety data sheet.

Since November 15th, 2022 SUCITESA already has all the Safety Data Sheets of its products according to the regulation 2020/878.

The most notable changes in the new versions of the safety data sheet are:

Unique Formula Identifier (UFI): listed in section 1.1.
The UFI is a unique alphanumeric code that unambiguously links the composition information submitted to the European poison control centers to the product. Its purpose is to provide these centers with harmonized information in order to be able to respond in case of accidental exposure.

Inclusion of other hazards:
Endocrine disrupting properties, use of nanoforms, aspiration hazard, etc.
Modification of Sections:
Changes in section 3, 9, 11 and 12.
