SUCITESA’s Environmental Achievements: Fewer Resources, Greater Positive Impact

At SUCITESA, in 2024 we reaffirmed our commitment to sustainability by integrating concrete improvements in the efficiency of our processes and in the responsible design of products and packaging. In the face of current environmental challenges, we have focused our efforts on reducing resource use and moving towards a more circular and resilient model.

This year, we achieved a 24% reduction in sanitary water consumption and a 2% reduction in electricity usage, thereby strengthening our commitment to the efficient management of natural resources. We also introduced packaging design improvements, achieving a 1% reduction in plastic and paper use per tonne of product, while promoting reuse as a key pillar of our environmental policy.

Additionally, 94% of the new products launched in 2024 incorporate significant environmental benefits, such as the use of recycled materials, more sustainable formulas, or optimised packaging, in line with eco-design principles.

These advances complement our climate change adaptation actions and proper management of packaging waste in accordance with new regulations, through our affiliation with the SCRAP ENVALORA collective system. Altogether, this reflects a solid commitment to responsible innovation and the fulfilment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
